- Single battery located behind driver and inside chassis rails.
- 12 Volt System only
- A master Battery/Kill switch must be installed within reach of the driver and clearly marked.
- Battery Cables
- Positive Battery Cables must be inside of roll cage.
- Wires
- Must remain separate
- Shrink wrap /taping is not allowed
- Ignition System
- Must remain continuous from start connector to end connector
- No splices
- No bare areas
- unused connectors
- Single ground stud for the ignition only
- A ground wire may run to battery post
- A gound wire may run to the main ground stud
- Accessory
- All accessory wiring must be independent of ignition system wiring
- Must use ground other than Ignition ground stud

- Mounted out of drivers reach

- Quick Change equipped Trucks and Trucks with open motors that measure
325 cu inches or over must run 6500 chip
- Max 6500 rpm chip will be required for all engines over 325 cu. inches.
- Max 6500 rpm chip will be required for all Trucks with quick Change rears
- Trucks with less than 325 cu inches must run 6800 chip

- A pin 5 Power Red
- B pin 2 Tach Green or Brown
- C pin 6 Coil – Black
- D pin 1 Coil + Orange
- E pin 3 pick up – Green
- F pin 4 pick up + Violet

- OEM or OEM replacement distributors, HEI aftermarket distributor modules,
or coils may be used.
- MSD Soft Touch Rev Limiter with HEI ignition suggested.
- Crank trigger systems are permitted for claimer motors without distributor drive capabilities
- Must be pre-approved
- Series reserves the right to disallow any crank trigger system without reason.
- Crank trigger systems are not allowed for option 1 thru 4 motors
